Potty Training Dolls |
We prefer the drink and wet on
demand™ doll. The best dolls available on the market are:
Potty Scotty
is an anatomically correct boy doll. He is perfect for
potty training boys. Not only can Scotty potty sitting
down, he can also potty standing up.
Potty Patty
is an anatomically correct girl doll. She is perfect to
use for potty training and little girls will also get a
lot of play value from this doll.
If you want to
compare the doll available
on the market today - t his site does a great job of
comparing all the dolls. |

Potty Chairs |
There is a great selection of
potty chairs available. They come in all shape and size.
We don't recommend any specific chair, however, my
personal opinion is that all you need a simple one piece
chair.
This type of potty chair is inexpensive, so you can get
more than one - and so you don't have to carry them around
the house - especially if you live in a two story house.
They are easy to clean and you child can carry them from
room to room. |

Potty Training Underwear |
Not only do you have to get
potty training underwear for the daytime, I recommend
using potty training pants for nap and night time as well.
There is a great selection of potty training underwear
available. |

Treats - to eat. |
As mentioned in the book, our
favourite treats are salty, as they make the toddler
thirstly and facilitate drinking more - which helps when
trying to potty train.
If you use chocolate, just be carefully with the amount of
sugar and caffine that is being consumed by your child. As
you read in the book, bowel movement schedules will change
because of potty training, and if your child is prone to
constipation, then you should avoid using chocolate, as
you don't want to get to the point of bowel movement
resistance. |

Treat to drink |
Again, our general
recommendation is that you use your child's favourite
drink - because you want to get as much water as is
possible into the child, however, this does depend on your
child's favorite drink. If s/he love soda - especially
caffinated soda, then be well read on the how caffine can
cause constipation in toddlers and how this can lead to
the 3D cycle and bowel movement resistance. |
